This is a stunning hand-stitched bow tie patterned quilt in patriotic colors. It was made with an abundance of beautiful calico and striped fabrics. From the early 20th century, it is winter weight with some batting. It has been freshly hand-washed.
Deirdre’s Bio:
This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Martha Stewart, and Schumacher, among many others.

It is beautiful as is or can be restored to its natural beauty. It feels strong and is ready to be hung, framed, or draped. It is priced with these flaws in mind. Please review all the photos.
