A pair of cast iron Cape Cod fisherman bookends. The fisherman smokes a pipe and is reading the newspaper ‘the I&M’. Engraved on the back; "Cape Cod Fisherman, Copy Right 1928” with the Connecticut Foundry mark.
The Connecticut Foundry was established in 1919 after the building burned down and was rebuilt in 1918.
