A vintage porcelain vase of globular form with a slender attenuated neck designed by Peter Müller for Sgrafo Modern of Germany, dating circa 1970s. The white porcelain body is decorated with a warm golden drip glaze in shades of tan and brown accented with metallic crystalline clusters.
Very good undamaged condition, marked SGRAFO MODERN / GERMANY on the base with impressed model number 1977, measuring 5.25 in. height x 4.25 in. diameter (at widest).
Peter Müller and his brother Klaus took over the Sgrafo Porcelain factory from their father in 1955. The factory was located in Höhr-Grenzhausen, West Germany. less
