Offered are two hand-colored engravings of Views of Venician. The engravings were made By Giampiccoli circa 1750s.

One engraving is a depiction of the Venetian Arsenal, a complex of shipyards and arsenals, historically the hub of Venice’s naval power. The work is engraved by Marco Sebastiano Giampiccoli after Henricul Joinville.
This engraving is in good antique condition. There is some creasing running down the center of the image. There is some foxing, especially around the print margin. The framing is antique, thus shows some age-related wear. The matting is discolored. The frame is solid with minor scuffs and scratches.

The next engraving features a scenes in the eastern district of Castello, Venice. In the center is the 16 the century church if San Giuseppe di Castello. Also notable is Neo-Byzantine church of San Nicolo in the right foreground, which no longer stands. This is an engraving by Marco Sebastiano Giampiccoli after a painting by Canaletto.
This engraving is in good antique condition. There is creasing in the center of the paper and foxing throughout, most notably on the print margins. The matting is discolored and there is wear to the frame due to age.
