Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown colorful spring wild flowers Italian art glass pedestal paperweight. Created in the manner of the Fratelli Toso and Galliano Ferro companies. The inside of the clear glass globe has 6 different flowers, in 4 different colors. There are pink, light blue, white and green flowers on the top, growing out of a black and green spots ground. The paperweight has a large black base, with gold painted edges, and hand painted flower garland throughout the bottom. It has green leafs with red, yellow, purple, white and blue painted flowers. Unsure if they are enamel or just paint. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-century era. Very unusual design. Collectors item! Measures 5 3/4" tall x 3 1/8" wide at the base.
