In the Bolgatanga area of Ghana, these baskets are traditionally used for carrying goods to and from the market. Weavers in the region use the abundant Veta vera grass to weave these incredibly hardy, useful baskets. NOTE; To reduce the shipping this basket will come collapsed and with the instruction on how to reshape it. it's very easily reshape your basket by quickly submerging in water, reshape by hand and hang to dry.
