Early 1900’s Blue and White Transfer Print Sicilian Pattern. A romantic Chinoiserie scene with two lovers looking over the lake in a building surrounded by flowers.
The rim of the plates has several motives encased in Rococo scrolled cartouches.
The title on the back of the plate is also done with a Rococo floral cartouche.
Perfect condition and very decorative.
Measurements:
Width 10”
Height 1.75”
Please note: I could not find the exact date when the plate was made, but I found the pattern was listed as early as 1890. less
