Description: C.1950's Original Dorothy Thorpe Lucite and silver plate ca due holders. We had an exact pair like this last year, … more C.1950's Original Dorothy Thorpe Lucite and silver plate ca due holders. We had an exact pair like this last year, andethought how rare to fid this particular straight sand up candle holders by D. Thorpe, one usually sees the pretzel-shaped ones. Well to our delight we acquired another such one like the previous one which we sold, SHOULD the Buyer of that set, be interested to attain this pair as well and have equal heights x 2 for this pair as well. Anyway this is in great condition, no crazing whatsoever. There is evidence of D. Thorpe sticker the sticky portion, so we decided to take an image of both of them, and cleaned one off, as it was so tacky and detracts wildly so upon the overall esthetic and silver, to protect the material. Thank you for looking. In excellent condition. From a Miami Beach, Florida Estate.
