- This is a superb gold gilded French Louis XV armchairs with a delightful jungle themed animal printed upholstery with deer, … more This is a superb gold gilded French Louis XV armchairs with a delightful jungle themed animal printed upholstery with deer, leopards and lions basking in flowers. The color is neutral and will work with most shades in your room and the superb carved frames have distressed genuine gold leaf revealing touches of the gesso and Italian red clay bole ground behind it. The chairs date to the 1900-1910s era and are in good antique condition. The upholstery is newer and clean though may show imperfections not shown on camera. Dimensions : 38.25 inches high x 26.25 inches wide x 25 inches deep. Seat height 19.75 less
