Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown black and white filigrana swirling ribbons Italian art glass decorative bowl or personal ashtray. Attributed to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1950s. The bowl has 2 original labels underneath. One is a blue trim item number label (very worn), and a round "Made In Italy" label. It has an alternating pattern of white (4 lines) and black (2 lines) swirling towards the center. There is a decorative fold on the rim that can be used as a handle, or to place a cigarette. Would make a great display piece on any desk, side table or vanity. Use it as a catchall, ashtray, candy or jewelry dish. Mid-century era. Measures: 5 5/8" long x 5" wide x 1 5/8" tall.
