Antique set of (4) earthenware side/salad plates made by New Wharf Pottery Company, Burslem, England. Markings indicate date of manufacture as 1887-1888. Aesthetic Movement brown transferware in "Tennyson" pattern. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. These would be an excellent addition to a plate wall.
