In “Montecito” Kerry Hallam depicts a beautiful Santa Barbara scene. The artwork is an exuberant, captivating view. A simple pool surrounded by flowers and astounding architecture all bathed in the California sun and brought to vivid life by Hallam’s expressionist brush.
Framed by Martin Lawrence Galleries in dark gold wood molding with white linen matting and gold fillet. 49" x 41".
Very good pre-owned condition. No apparent damage to artwork. There is some splatter on the lower left part of the frame (see detail photo).
About Kerry Hallam:
Originally from Northern England, Hallam has came to liove and wortk in the United States since the late 70s. He received his formal art education at the London University School of Art. His works exhibit bright light and vivid colors as an emotional force while depicting nautical and European-flavored experiences. Hallam painted in a true impressionistic style with clear Fauvist influence. less
