This Andy Warhol Estate rare vintage 1989 " Pop Art Portfolio " of six collector's offset lithograph prints complete set is an incredibly special and unique set to add to your collection.
The rare out of print portfolio of six Pop Art print reproductions features 6 iconic artworks of the American Pop Art master Andy Warhol.
Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, artworks, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.
This is a rare opportunity for true Andy Warhol and Pop Art fans and collectors as this coveted prints portfolio is long out of print and very scarce to find. The official " AW " Foundation seal of authenticity is printed on each print in the lower right front corner.
The complete portfolio set is produced by Te Neues Publishing Company in 1989, in cooperation with The Estate and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, printed in Germany. It includes 6 color prints, folio cover sleeve, and artist chronology sheet. These prints are ready for framing.
