The lower shelf is 9 inches in depth and could hold some of your favorite books. The middle shelf has a depth of 6 inches and the top shelf has a depth of 3.5 inches. The stand or etagere has two large metal loops attached to the back for mounting the piece to a wall. The stand is in very good vintage condition with minor scuffs or scratches to the finish.
