The colorful paint is all original on this beautiful flat top trunk. Exceptional detail is seen in the floral panels, village scene, vibrant borders and more.
The trunk is dated 1803 on the center front, with the name of Maria (?) also visible.
Note photo of interior that reveals additional highly detailed painting, a compartment to the left along with 3 small interior drawers which is an unusual addition to this exceptional trunk.
Restored, strong and stable, this large pine trunk is ready to be used and enjoyed. No lock nor key.
