Description: The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. I know it's -just- a snack set, but dang! The color is … more The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. I know it's -just- a snack set, but dang! The color is jewel tone and quality, the design creating a nearly cut stone effect. To be clear, this is pressed glass, made right here in the US of A in the early 70s- a limited four year run for an insanely popular color at the time- and still today. The plates are a full 10" dinner plate size, but with the addition of the raised rim for the cup. If you were wanting to do either a meal with a dip- say fish or such- you could easily use this as an everyday plate by putting the dip in the cup. Or serve a juicy side in it. If I had this I would not be using it only for parties- I would find a way to make it my go to lift me up plates. We all have those days when we need something extra to make life better. Use what you gotta- no shame. There's 10 full sets here for somebody lucky. I have other entertainment snack sets listed seperately in my chairish store, go look!
