Paper mache Lion signed Ser-Mel, for Sergio Bustamante and Melquiades Preciado.
They startedt their Ser-Mel workshop in 1963 in the Historic District of Tonala, the renowned folk art town in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
Bright style and colorful pieces, were painted with the traditional designs that have characterized Tonala's crafts.
In the late 70s Sergio Bustamante left the workshop to became one of the world's most renown Mexican Artists and Sculptors.
