A fabulous set of four antique cast iron Art Nouveau folding garden or patio chairs. Circa early 20th century of the period. Painted white with classic Art Nouveau scrolling details. Cheerful bright multi-color fabric covered over a flat wooden seat platform. All chairs open and fold smoothly with clips locking the chair in pace when open.
Art Nouveau is an international style of art, architecture, and applied art, especially the decorative arts. It was often inspired by natural forms such as the sinuous curves of plants and flowers.
