Along with his wife Marilyn, Fred Buss was an American wood-carver that resided in Cazadero, California and was known for his band-sawn and lathed biomorphic-shaped jewelry and ring boxes in the shapes of trees, mushrooms, and curvaceous shapes made of all types of woods (that were usually identified on the bottom).

This box has two brown felt-lined stash drawers - the first below the top piece that slides off in both directions, and the second, a kidney-shaped drawer that slides out of the bottom.

It measures 8" L x 2.875" D x 4.5" H less
