The top of the fixture acts as a canopy (ceiling cover) that goes up and down to install flush to the ceiling at a set height of 34 inches. 40 lbs. Glassblown, no part is identical. Two glass shells have hairline fractures, produced during production. Not broken or chipped. The metal has wear and scratches from age. Please see all the images, especially the close-ups. Parts are disassembled and require assembly. To ship, it is dissembled.

La Murrina Fornace, established in 1968 on the island of Murano, Italy, was founded by a group of master glassblowers. In 1974, it was acquired by an industrialist family from Milan.
