A bronze animal head, possibly a deer or antelope, from Ancient Rome. There is a marvelous patina on this sweet animal sculpture that demonstrates the pendant's age, and it is set with 21 karat gold to make it into a special necklace charm. This from the 1st to 3rd Centuries AD, and was created by lost-wax casting - further details were hand-chiseled. The Roman Empire, at this
time period, consumed most of Western Europe, North Africa and as far west as Syria. This is an artisan-made custom piece with precious metal and ancient materials. Unique and one of a kind! less
