This nicely sized pair of rectangular-shaped mirrors stand approximately 8 feet in height. These are American artisan created with a rectangular-shaped antiqued-mirror outer surround (with black along the side edges), and each feature a large, gold verre églomisé shell displayed prominently within the upper glass section. There are twelve square-shaped antiqued and beveled-glass panels beneath, set within two columns and six rows, and have petite flower nail-head accents between them. Verre églomisé is a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, and is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. This tall pair of trumeau style mirrors with églomisé shell décor, together will make an impactful statement, and a great way to open up and bounce natural light within a room.
