For your consideration… Recently on a trip to old Cape Cod, Massachusetts we took the long route on Route 6A , luckily we did. It was on that route that we found an incredible flea market filled with the most amazing cottage core vintage items. This charming American Victorian iron door knocker was among them. Made by Hubley , in the USA.
Worn paint, patina, and all the stuff that we look for in antique work is here and it’s gorgeous. The classic basket form with overflowing flowers as always been a sign of welcome in America.
The door knocker measures 5” x 3.5” approximate it’s in very good condition with all the bells and whistles and is the perfect addition to your cottage core collection.
