Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown blue purple, and gold flecks Italian art glass bird figurine on paperweight pedestal. Created in the manner of the Salviati company and Alfredo Barbini. The bird flows in color, Ombre style, with main blue body and purple wing tips and tail. The little guy sits on a large rock base, with white inner layer and gold on the outside. The entire piece is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a decorative piece on any surface, or as a paperweight. Mid-century era. Measures: 4 3/4" tall x 3" wide.
