Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown blue and gold flecks Italian art glass ribbed decorative seashell shape bowl / sculpture. Attributed to the Barovier and Toso company. The bowl has a flared out rim with blue color on the edge, with scroll decoration at the bottom. The bowl is profusely covered in gold leaf, with a repeating line pattern. At the bottom center, some of the blue color has formed a heart shape. Would make a great display piece on any table, credenza or dresser. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or just display it as a sculpture. Mid-century era.
Of interest for any Marine / Nautical / Ocean themed room. Measures 7 3/8" long x 7" wide x 3 1/2" at highest point.
