A mixed media oil paint and chalk pastel canvas painting by Japanese-American artist Reiko Sakagami Baum (1927-2021). Softly blended hues of red, pink, orange, gray, and black intermingle in this ethereal abstract painting. The painting is unsigned and is framed in a black wooden frame.
Lifelong artist, Reiko Sakagami Baum was originally from Japan and was known for painting. She attended art school in New York where she met her future artist husband, Michael Baum. The Baum's owned a framing company before becoming the owners and horse breeders of Man O' War Farm in Lexington, KY, where they lived out their lives.
