Carol Summers (American, b. 1925- ), "Vesuvio"-1964, color woodblock on paper, pencil signed and at upper right, titled and limited edition noted in pencil at left "11/50 Vesuvio". Modern art print depicting an abstracted view of Mt. Vesuvius erupting with pink lava spilling out of the top of purple mountain. Note: This work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington D.C. Note: Some fading to red tone.
