Each lamp has a candleabra with sharp crisp casted components all triple gold gilt ormolu plated ( possibly mercury gilded given the smooth finish and color of gold). Solid heavy bronze with rich gilding a perfect antique original matching pair. The lamps are straight and sit correctly on a table or console/ cabinet for a superior decorative element as well as an impressive light source. Note : Thomire a Paris created similar style bronze art objects in the 19th century and these exquisite lamps are from the same period and French origin and very comparable in quality. See less
