A gorgeous carved and silvered gilt wood Italian Grotto styled occasional table having a spectacular pietra dura marble top. The Grand Tour era table gives off strong Neoclassical vibes with its form and design, and the specimen marble top just takes this sentiment over the top, The craftmanship involved in this type of marble work is extraordinary and something to behold in the flesh. Late 19th Century. Remnants of old original label underside of the marble top.
We'd love to employ this useful table front and center of a small white love seat. Divine !
