chair sold by herman miller, but produced by evans plywood in 1948-1949. The 5-2-5 screw arrangement beneath has only be used by evans products.
herman miller produces from 1950 on, but with 4-2-5 screw pattern. The production of the lcw has been stopped in 1958 until its re-introduction in 1994.
it has been entirely restored by mid-century specialist: sanded down, refinished and treated with hardening oil. The chair still has its original screws. The original label has fallen off, which happens quite often to these chairs.
