This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful and Quite Unusual Set of Antique Silver Pastry - Cannoli Serving Tongs. Large Size & Scale. Circa Early 20th Century. They are Rendered in a Wonderful - Fancy Reticulated Rococo Style with Cherubs Cherubs and Other Classic Italian Motifs. They are Signed - Were Produced by the Very Well Documented and Much Sought Italian Maker PERUZZI in FLORENCE ITALY. They are Also Marked "800 SILVER" Denoting the Solid 800/1000 Pure Silver Content ( Continental European Coin Silver ). NOTE That Peruzzi is Vastly Known by Collectors Today for the Beautiful Assortment of Jewelry Items that they Produced Over The Years - All of which have a Very Distinct & Recognizable "Florentine" Style & Design. The Tongs are in Very Nice All Original Cosmetic and Perfectly Usable Condition - Display Beautifully. No Damage - No Repairs. Lightly Tarnished. They are Quite Heavy With a Substantial Solid Silver Weight of 174.18 Grams / 5.600 Troy Ounces.
