Stunning Tall Cobalt Blue & Gold Glass Vase, European Origin, Sailboat Scene 19.5" High

Eagle Bay Heirlooms is pleased to offer this stunning hand-blown vase in traditional European techniques from high-quality glass materials in deep cobalt blue with intricate "moriage-style" 24k gold beading and details, and which boasts a large gold framed cartouche with a hand-painted blue and white sailboat scene. A stunning display which is one of the 3 panels surrounding the body of the vase.
This mid-century vase has a Bohemian inspired touch of elegance, however, while unmarked the technique strongly suggests the origin being Venice,Italy (Murano). The estate auction where acquired called this a Murano vase, which presumably is with an outside chance of it being Czech or Bohemian.
It is a quite rare vase with the hand painted scene on the front which is perfect for any nautical enthusiast or lover of elegant and decorative art glass.
The statuesque size makes this a true statement piece. The base and top rim are done in heavy gold gilt bands, and around the top of the neck, a white background with delicate blue vines and leaves. The other two panels around the body are decorated with stylized heavy gold and white tulip-shaped flowers with leaves amongst gold beaded scrolls.
I cannot find any markings or signings on this piece and around the rim of the base there are protective applied pieces which have been put on with adhesive to protect the furniture.
Size: 19.5" Tall, 7" Top Diameter, 7.5" Base Diameter
Condition: Excellent condition displaying possible slight wear of gold, a tinsy dent in the glass in the interior top, very miniscule. (See image) Unsigned, unmarked.
