This Really is a Exceptionally Nice Looking Antique American Blue Sponge Ware Decorated Stoneware Kitchen Mixing Bowl. Circa Very Late 19th Century - 1890s. It has Beautiful and Extensive Hand Decorated Spongeware Features that are Done in the Classic American Style. Also Note that the Thick - Heavy Stoneware Body Weighing Well Over 6 Pounds. Note Also that it has Embossed - Relief Features. It was most likely made in the Eastern Central Ohio Region. It is in Excellent Cosmetic - Strong - Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition - Displays Beautifully. No Cracks - No Chips - No Repairs. There are a few Surface Glaze Imperfections - Dimples on the Interior Bottom Basin Area but These are Kiln Flaws that Occurred in the Making - Firing Process.
It Measures 6 inches Tall and 12 1/8 inches Wide - Long at Top Rim.
