When purchased it looked like it had been buried in dirt. Hence for some residual. Maker's mark on backside, as production of this particular bank was called, "Dicky Lindy, " by the Lindy Company, designed by N. Tregor. One usually see's these in cast iron colorations, and it's a bright departure from norm. Needs better cleaning, and tender loving care. Perfect for any boy, or manly office, aviator enthusiast, with a nod for nostalgic idealism of aviation history. less
