Superbly created with internal color layers and carved eyes all three dimensionally created to look like a living bird perched and observing it's surrounding. Crisp clean and brilliant rather heavy in weight as it should be in excellent condition. Note : this is a studio sculpture from the 50's/60's and production of these pieces were made in limited numbers in Italy during the mid century Era and the quality is just as good if not better than the more commercially mass produced murano. less
