This is a vintage pair of decorative bookends. An English, Portland stone book rest, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.
Pleasingly robust forms with appealing WW2 period emblem
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Crafted from Portland Stone with a tasteful cream hue
Portland stone was used extensively in London at the time of 1941
