Mid-Century Modern brutalist table lamp by Laurel Lamp. Sculptural abstract form features a polished nickel chrome finish and is mounted on a black metal plinth base. Lamp shade not included.
Designed by Richard Barr for Laurel and first appearing as part of a “Studio Collection” in the 1965 Laurel catalog. Initially offered in 1965 in Swedish Brass or polished chrome on Rosewood or Walnut pedestal. Height: 42" Piece was later offered in 1974 as Laurel #H-1043 described as a 29" Original Metal Sculpture table lamp. Polished chrome on black base.
Measures: Height top of harp: 30.75 inches.
Height top of socket: 21.75 inches. less
