13 yds. by 49" wide Brunschwig & Fils St. Simeon screen print cotton, Indian inspired, batik style fabric in shades of red, tan and blue. We have seen similar items described as Batik Raisin pattern in Prune color combination and described as a product of France intended for curtain applications. Text printed on the edge of the fabric reads as follows: St Simeon - a Brunschwig & Fils, Inc. screen print Collection Georges Le Manach, Paris. Le Manach was a legendary French, family owned, fabric maker founded in 1829 in Tours. It became part of French luxury design house Maison Pierre Frey in 2013. Pierre Frey also supplied fabrics for the U.S. Pierre Deux shops. There is a fascinating video online that show the traditional manual screen print process involved in making this pattern. Search for video "Legacy and Looking Ahead: Patrick Frey and the Making of a Modern Fabric House". In very good condition as shown. We have an additional 19 yards of this pattern listed separately.
Measurements: 13 yards long by 49" wide approximately. less
