This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
Late 1940s or early 1950s silvertone frog on a lilypad brooch with security clasp. Marked "Joseff" in script. Measures: 1 7/8 inches long by 2 inches wide. Condition: Very good; tarnish normal for its age.
Joseff of Hollywood made a lot of jewelry that was used to film movies in the golden age of Hollywood. Their jewelry was used in Gone With the Wind and many other famous movies. Recently, their jewelry was used in the movie Being the Ricards, using the original pieces from Joseff of Hollywood's archive that were used to film I Love Lucy.
