This colorful Postmodern vase features a geometric design punctuated with an arrow design. The underside of the vase is signed “VLASEK HAILS 88 PKCA."

Doris Vlasek-Hails was born in Chicago during an upswing of abstracted design. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Vlasek-Hails went on to teach at modern-day Herron School of Art and Design, as well as opening the Indianapolis art gallery Woodburn and Westcott Contemporary Fine Art. less
