This style of weaving, known for depicting lush, green vegetation, is called a verdure tapestry. The presence of tropical birds and striking flowers is typically referred to as an exotique tapestry.

Behind the rocky terrain that houses the trees, flowers, and birds is a small stream in front of a city wall. Multiple buildings can be seen scattered around a towering parapet. Further in the background are a few mountain peaks. The silk and wool fibers have maintained their lustrous colors, specifically the blue and green of the leaves, and the red flowers scattered throughout the forest. A thick foliate gold margent surrounds the scene, which is itself enveloped by thin red and blue borders.
