The designer not only managed to incorporate the characteristic seating comfort of Bugatti car seats; he also accomplished a visually perfect embodiment of the car in armchair form.

The chair is thus designed to reflect the characteristic, streamlined contours of the Classic car; naturally, you sit very low in it, as you would in a sports car, for seating comfort underscored even further by cushions that are inclined backwards. The armchair shape also takes on the contours of the fender, with voluminous armrests that extend to the floor: true to detail, they point downwards, as in the real Bugatti 57.

The aerodynamic structures of DS-57 are uniquely delicate. The armchair is impressive for its striking runners and soft seating comfort. The steep seat gradient is achieved by means of a wedge-like base structure, made of aluminum, with integrated, height-adjustable headrest.
