This beautiful work of art, bookend or ornament can be used in any number of ways to create a dramatic impact in any room. This is a rare tessellated multicolored stone piece with brass embellishments by the famous design company Maitland Smith. Each piece of hand veneered stone is set between fine brass wires. A lot of work. Faux tortoise shell effect finish.
Retains faded Maitland Smith label on underside.
Condition is excellent.
Age Mid 20th Century.
