The basin adopts … more A 20th century Chinese wash basin made with blue and white porcelain and showcasing a crackle patina. The basin adopts a wide opened shape. The edge and the foot feature a dark painting detail. This wash basin displays a three-section adornment with branches and birds in the upper one. The middle section allows one to see the crackle patina. The centre of this basin is adorned with a large peony flower and lower section features simple shapes. All these patterns are painted in blue on the white porcelain, following the Chinese tradition. This Chinese 20th century, blue and white crackle patina porcelain wash basin would be an exotic decorative item in most homes, perhaps in a bathroom where it could be an elegant basin. less
