This large antique female statue in two sections, was crafted in Normandy, France circa 1820. Made of pine wood, the tall figure depicts a religious figure woman in adoration standing on a separate base resembling a cloud; she has her arms crossed over the heart. The important figure has beautiful lines and fine carvings especially on the robe, hair and facial details; she is embellished with bright blue glass eyes, which gives the statue a special presence. The tall woman sculpture is in excellent condition with a rich light pine finish and some old white paint accents.
