The vintage lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication printed in 1967 in Japan. The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. It features an artwork originally created by Klee in 1921 titled " Southern Garden ". This print is suitable for framing.

Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) the Swiss born artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of The 20th Century. His highly individual style was influenced by the movements of Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism, as well as the simplicity of the Bauhaus designs. He and his colleague Wassily Kandinsky both important color theorists were educators at the famous Bauahus School of Art and Design in Germany. Artworks by Klee are included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.

The vintage lithograph print measures 8 3/4" W X 7 1/2" H, on a page that is 9 1/4" W X 12 1/2" H. There is text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling. It has never been framed. Please see photos for condition reference.
