The handle of the lid is shaped like pinecone and the lid itself depicts traditional Chinese landscape scenes, with pagodas, bridges, and sakura trees set amidst serene natural surroundings. This picturesque vignette is framed by delicate geometric borders, enhancing the visual appeal of the piece.
The interior is equally finished, displaying a pristine white glaze that contrasts beautifully with the exterior's intricate artwork. The bottom of the tureen has another traditional Chinese landscape scene.
