Description: Purchased in the early 1980's. This cabinet has had only a single owner since that time. Vintage Art Deco piece … more Purchased in the early 1980's. This cabinet has had only a single owner since that time. Vintage Art Deco piece custom made from the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. We have a matching Demi Lune table in another listing. The top and bottom metal frames are hefty and majestic. The glass is heavy and strong. The three lower drawers on the lower middle section are made of a white colored plexiglass. l on the interiorof the drswer. The front of the drswers are wood. The three black shelves on the upper section are adjustable and all painted black wood. The side cabinets have mirrored bottom glass and 3 adjustable glass shelves with grooved plate holders in the back. There are two lights on each side of the cupboard ceilings. There is custom fit gray glass for the top of the cabinet that fits like a puzzle, in the three sections, in case coming down the stairs you would see the top of the cabinet. There are four screws that hold the side cabinets in place when they are attached to the middle section. The cabinet comes apaert in 3 sections to be moved. The doors can all be taken off and the sides slide out for transportation. Chairish usually hires a compny called Ply Con to disassemble and reassemble in the buyers home. Fabulous piece of furniture for Art Deco style living. less
