Description: This came out of an Arizona estate of lady who had a wonderful collection of Native American baskets, pottery and … more This came out of an Arizona estate of lady who had a wonderful collection of Native American baskets, pottery and blankets. She was well studied and quite choosy so enjoy these pieces as we go along.

This is a wonderful big beautiful example of Pima basket weaving, very tightly and finely done. It has a geometric shield design. It measures 16 inches across and 4 inches deep. There is a little bit of wear on the bottom, (take a look at the photo) as expected, overall in very good condition. There is a very careful loop of fish line on the bottom to hang it and a wee bit of thread probably from a tag at some point. Take a look at the photos for details and condition. less
