Great for dining rooms, bedrooms and dens; this piece has so many uses it's a great storage cabinet. Made of solid walnut with brass accents. The top and bottom portions are separated by risers and have pegs holding the top securely in place. It is shipped in two pieces and no screws or tools needed just place the top on the existing pegs sticking up out of the lower cabinet. This piece was custom made for a private residence in the midwest during the mid 20th century and is on the market for the very first time ever. There is no other cabinet made like this one, a true one of a kind. The top surfaces had been covered the entire time it was in the residence and remain in perfect mint condition albeit with a small nick here or there which are virtually unnoticeable and definitely not distracting. The brass pulls for the small upper cubbies are two different pairs, please see the accompanying images. The top shelf which is removable has a groove for plates to stand on display. With a gorgeous walnut body and foldout accordion doors this cabinet truly a special piece. less
